My father, C. Frank Stallings, retired from teaching English at Westerville (Ohio) High School (now Westerville South High School) and went to work for a succession of men’s clothing stores. After working part-time for Russell Norris at the local men’s haberdashery in Westerville (Norris and Sons), he worked full-time first at The Union Store in Graceland Shopping Center and then in downtown Columbus. He then moved just down the street to Dunhill’s on the southwest corner of Broad and High Streets (across from the state capitol). After that, he worked for Tom Bott at The Cavalier Shop in the Westerville Shopping Center (first card) and later at Marvin’s Men’s Shop across the street in Westerville Square (second card).
